Current status

The Vamsi Limited website application does not currently set analytics, advertising, social-media or personalisation cookies. It does not currently use browser local storage or similar tracking technology. Because no non-essential storage is presently used, the site does not display a consent banner.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a device when a website is visited. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and software development kits. UK PECR and equivalent European ePrivacy rules generally require clear information and prior consent before non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used.

2. Strictly necessary technology

A production hosting or security provider may use technology that is strictly necessary to transmit the site, balance traffic, prevent abuse or protect a service specifically requested by the user. Consent is not normally required for strictly necessary technology, but it must still be documented accurately.

3. Changes before new tools are added

Vamsi Limited must not activate analytics, advertising, embedded third-party media or other non-essential storage until it has:

  • completed a production cookie and tracker scan;
  • updated this policy with each tool’s name, provider, purpose and duration;
  • implemented a consent mechanism that blocks non-essential technology by default;
  • provided equally prominent accept and reject choices, with granular controls where required; and
  • made withdrawal as easy as giving consent.

4. Browser controls

You can delete or block cookies using browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technology may prevent a requested service from working. Browser controls do not replace the site’s duty to obtain consent before using non-essential technology.
